Capitol Notes: National Polls Show Governor Walker Could Be In Trouble

Aug 6, 2018

The Wisconsin governor's race is starting to draw broader attention.  Some recent national polls show Democratic candidate Tony Evers ahead of Republican Gov. Scott Walker in hypothetical head-to-head matchups.

The NBC News/Marist Poll had Evers ahead of Walker by 13 points, while the Emerson College Epoll showed Evers up by seven.  Evers is one of eight Democrats vying for the chance to face Walker in November. The primary is Aug. 14.
